Get to know your fellow students and instructors as well as the resources available for a comfortable and happy journey ahead.

• Welcome: Orientation is a welcome event where new students can meet staff and faculty. This virtual event is a great opportunity for students to get to know one another and begin building a sense of community. It also outlines what to expect from the teachers, how to succeed and what the college and the faculty expect from the students including basic rules, attendance requirements etc.
• Academic advising: Students will meet with an academic advisor to discuss their course schedule and academic goals. This is an opportunity for students to ask questions and learn more about their major and CCEC’s academic policies.
• Student services: Orientation includes information sessions on accessing the virtual learning platform, information on course structure and course completion requirements. The information sessions will also provide guidance on accessing various student services.
• Virtual Orientation: This is designed to provide students with the same information as an in-person orientation, but in an online format, usually through videos, webinars, and virtual tours.
